Five generations

A family in perfume since 1898

In 1898 Sophie and Avram Rosenbaum opened A. Rosenbaum at Nußdorfer Straße 9, in Vienna's ninth district: soaps, candles, powders and scent. Their daughter-in-law Rosalie carried the trade to New York and joined the perfume business at Macy's Herald Square. Sophie Karen Bader became an organic chemist at Shulton, the house behind Old Spice.

Five generations on, the family returns to perfume.
